From I-95, take exit 88. At the end of the exit ramp, go south on Route 117. Turn right at the end onto Route 1 South. Take a left at the first light onto Depot Road. Follow this road as you go under a small bridge which will lead you to the park entrance. Follow the gravel road to the parking area.

From the parking area, you will see a green gate. Past the gate, you will see two sign boards. Take this wide trail between the two sign boards. When you come to a fork, bear left. You will pass a trail on the right as the trail goes uphill. Keep going uphill and you will next pass a "chair rock". After this rock, take the next trail on the left. Continue on this unmarked trail until you come to a T intersection. Go left. Continue until you come to a 3 way intersection. Go right at 100 degrees. Continue until you come to a Y intersection. From this intersection, go 12 steps at 280 degrees to a "Pyramid Rock". From this rock, go 33 steps at 270 degrees back up the trail you just come down on. Look to your right and take 22 steps off trail at 320 degrees. You will find the Portrait of a Letterbox Thief in the southwest side crevice between the rocks.

Return the way you came back to your car.
