Beware: Part of the trail is on steep hills, and is close to cliffs. Not good for young children.

From the In Search of A Unicorn Letterbox, go back to the path and continue. After taking the path down a long hill, you will come to an old sunken road. The road runs from West to East, 240 degrees to 60 degrees. Follow the yellow blazed trail south. The trail will come to a T. Here you go right. Keep on this path until the trail comes to another T. Beware of cliffs and steep hills here. Take a right and start going downhill. Stop at the first sight of ledge on your right. Not rocks but ledge. Go to the oak that is close to the right side of the trail. The circumference of the tree is 6 feet and is 8 feet from the trail. From the north side of this tree, take a reading of 265 degrees. Take seven steps in that direction and look behind the flat rocks leaning against the ledge near the ground. You do not have to move them. There is an opening that you can see the box but the opening is not visible from the trail. Here you will find the In Search of the Abominable Snowman letterbox.
